Gabrielle Union Shows Off Her Baby To The World In Cute Video:Dwayne Wade Reveals Miracle Baby Face
They welcomed their 'miracle baby' via surrogate on November 7 after a long battle with infertility.
And now Gabrielle Union's husband Dwyane Wade has revealed their daughter's name - sharing a photo of the words Kaavia James tattooed onto his shoulders.
'#TBT Goes back to that one night in China when i decided to get my daughters name tattooed on me,' he wrote. 'Kaavia James Union Wade! #paternityleave.'
The new mom captured the moment seemingly unbeknownst to her NBA star husband as she snapped it from behind.
'Daddy's Girl,' the Bring it On star captioned the moment on social media.
Baby Wade seems to be taking after her six foot four father in at least one way already.
A brief social media video showed the infant's little legs kicking excitedly in a pair of cozy booties.
Union wrote on her Instagram story: 'Long Legggggs'
The baby girl is the first child for Union, however she is a step mom to Wade's sons Xavier Zechariah, five, Zion Malachi Airamis, 11, and Zaire Blessing Dwyane, 16. They also raise nephew Dahveon Morris, 17.
For years the couple struggled to conceive on their own and the Being Mary Jane star did multiple cycles of IVF which resulted in nearly ten miscarriages.
The actress opened up about her struggle with infertility in her book We’re Going to Need More Wine.
In her book Gabrielle revealed: 'I have had eight or nine miscarriages,
'For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I've either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.'
Dwyane missed his Miami Heat game last week against San Antonio citing 'personal reasons' and it wasn't long before the athlete revealed on social media the reason he'd been absent.
The couple took to their respective Instagram pages and posted pictures of the moment they met their baby girl with an accompanying cute caption.
'We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days.
